We need to book in a night for all of us to game together again.

I'd like to know why I was banned also, because I wasn't banned mid-game so the Admin or Mod that did it obviously felt like it could wait after the game or until they died. I left the game infact. More than a 24hr ban too, just because of some ♥♥♥♥ jokes? Which comes under 1 of rules; no. 3 if you really count it as swearing and excessive.

You have been given a 24 hour ban as you weren't following server rules.
You kept rushing the objectives, when admins were telling you to slow down you kept doing it. You were then kicked but obviously hadn't learnt your lesson when you kept rushing so you are banned for 24hrs

hello, i just got banned from insurgency server, but i dont know why i'm getting banned? i'm not using any cheat, or bad languange, or teamkill intentionally. can admin explain it?

Hmm, well when I rejoined there was only 4-5 people on and when I was on prior. There were about 9-10 of us.

Typically when a player gets this message it means either an admin or a paid member is connecting to the server and it will kick a non-paid player.
Part and parcel or playing on a popular server sorry.

Um dunno if anyone was there or saw but I was kicked by 'administrator' but I don't see any admins on and I was playing by the rules?
On the Insurgency server that was. I don't think I was banned but just kicked in this instance.

Hi Luny - According the the logs you were banned on 24/12 for "Not following admin directions". This was a very busy night for bans as a lot of people were overly 'jolly' on Christmas spirit and didn't follow the server rules.

I have however unbanned you in this instance. Please ensure you read and follow the server rules on the connection screen going forward.

After months of not playing I just tried joining and got an error as I'm banned! What gives?

I wasn't on at the time Jesus but I'm going to go with yes, it was your name.

We see someone with a stupid/offensive name like that come on and instantly every admin starts taking bets down to the second of when that player will be banned for doing something stupid.

Yes, we will ban for an offensive name- but mostly because out of our 20 odd years of gaming/being admins you can guarantee that if someone is not creative enough to come up with a name that isn't offensive, 9.5 times out of 10 we only have to end up banning that person later for breaking another rule. The ban was only a temp one - I suggest you change your name, permanently, for all servers, and then you will probably find most servers are more accepting :)

Yo I was banned from the Insurgency server just a few minutes ago, and well, I don't know why, I wasn't warned, just *poof* gone. Is it my name? Because I can change it, but I wasn't given a chance to do so.

Hi there, used to play on this server a lot about a year ago and came back after a long break to find out I was banned. I remember this server being pretty damn sweet, Would I may be able to speak to an admin to find out what I have maybe done wrong and sort it out?

Hi just discovered this group/server and I'm very pleased of a few hours Insurgency fix just have had here.

Ed - I suggest going to your "\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\222880\" folder and delete folder "821962848" if there before subscribing in the workshop.

If you have issues with workshop files:


1. Navigate to the "\Steam\steamapps\workshop\" folder and delete the file called "appworkshop_222880.acf"
2. Open your games library in the Steam
3. Right click Insurgency and click Properties
4. Select the "Local Files" tab
5. Click "Verify Integrity Of Game Files..."

This confirms that workshop files you subscribe to are loaded. You can view the status of the verification by clicking on "Library" at the top of your Steam window and then click "Downloads".

You may already know how to do all this. Just thought I'd write it up in full in case anybody else needs to know it.

Is there a download link for the theater files? Keeps kicking me off requiring consistency for the theater files, but the console logs show that the download links to said files don't work, and it seems like the links themselves are actually dead
