some body please go into the official server and tell them to fix this bum ass game... 3 days, and every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission is frozen or solo bc no one can join so im stuck playing by myself as i watch my friends disconnect and freeze my game as randos join and leave. Now u may think a little lag aint bad,............. Tour game won't let me join other people. And there is constantly files breaking, that need to be redownloaded after every play session. Optimization-wise, this game is pathetic

As a Chinese game developer, here is my advice regarding the massive negative reviews for Helldivers 2 on May 28th.

The core issue, the root cause of this event, is this:
Your company misled players by setting incorrect expectations.
You gave players the expectation that they could successfully defend [the objective], but ultimately crushed that hope through the use of deus ex machina.

This kind of narrative approach is unacceptable in any form of storytelling – whether novels, films, TV, or game plots. I hope your company can handle this aspect more professionally in the future.

From the heart to the sun, dear developers from Arrowhead! When will my skull shape and nationality (Russian) finally allow me to play your game?

I love Helldivers 2, but I'm forced to underclock my GPU just to play it for longer than 2 minutes. Please, it's been years already and there seems to be no fix for AMD GPU's. My most latest crash are no longer simply freezing my PC, they are now entirely powering it off. As if I lost power. My PC is not suffering any PSU issues or anything. I've run more extreme content creation software for longer periods of time with much greater demand on all my PC's Hardware without any power issues, glitches, or crashes of any kind. Only Helldivers 2 causes issues, still, to this day. Get it fixed. I shouldn't have to run any custom profiles on my GPU Drivers to have a game play with a little stability. Standard operating configuration is simply, STANDARD and should not be adjusted unless the individual wishes to test or push boundaries. In this case we are force to reduce and have substandard configurations to avoid a game harming our hardware.

I know its a, Great Success! But please put Helldivers II on special already, my bro and I have been waiting for ever. I know many more have just wanted to see the title go on special to justify a purchase if we cant afford. :)

The problem of crashing during hellpod landing appeared after update 01.002.200 on March 18, 2025, since that time we have tried everything: uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting folders and checking files, updating graphics drivers, etc...
NOTHING!
With the patch following 01.002.200, we all expected a fix to the problem, but there was none, so I wonder: are the ArrowHead developers actually working on a solution?

Dear ARROWHEAD Please can you create a tutorial for the Galactic map because a major part of the Helldivers still do not know which planet to attack after 1 year of service. For example, the planet Vog Sojoth is a 1.50 resistance and Claorell has 3.00 resistance if the Helldivers had attacked Vog Sojoth at the beginning of the major order, this one and Claorell would already be under our control. I admit that the incompetence of the majority of the helldivers is very annoying.

I set my graphics to max (everything that increases or decreases graphics at max) and now when i try to load in i get kicked and it kicks me to fast so i cant lower them.

It becomes USELESS when there are dead bodies and terrain in general next to the ALIVE enemies. You point at the ALIVE enemy and the arc goes to the terrain or the dead bodies of the enemies.

Guys, I think game's pricing is to high in my region. We use MENA - US. Dollar which should be lower than normal dollar price in my opinion but it is same as USA or Euro; it is 39$. I really want to play it but 1 dollar is 32 times more than our currency.

HD2 is a great game. Keep up the good work. There was an issue with Sony account linking, however since that is resolved I will continue to play and recommend.

Helldivers 2 is a fun game. I think most understood it was an issue arrowhead had no control over and im glad it Sony Backtracked. I hope this dont discourage you guys in continuing to create great games. Cause you can think of the incident this way, you created a game people cared enough to do something about it.

Under no circumstances do I purchase games associated with EA -- and now add Sony to that list. Does it limit the games I play? No, because there are always new companies making new games who appreciate their players.

Just throwing this out there is there any way that Arrowhead could sue Sony for their bonehead move with helldivers 2 for damages? Not sure what the legality of that is but it would seem that as a publisher it's kind of counterintuitive to take a step that would keep you from selling your game in hundred and some odd countries and cause a significant portion of your player base to demand refunds.

Helldivers 2 was great played 105 hors on my playstation. I seen y'all ruined the community by making steam require a playstation account. I'm done playing the game until the situation is resolved for the steam community. Waste of 40 dollars.

Weird to stand behind a company that i wont be affected by personally, knowing other countries will be affected by their actions. So I do not agree with their decision. I left a negative review on the game through steam. But, I am giving the credit and the Thank You to the people who made this awesome game for gamers like me. Thank You.

Sorry about the psn bs, you guys made a great game and I appreciate the hard work and effort. To bad sony Fubard it, hopefully you can have a different publisher for hell-divers 3 and we can all get back to diving soon.

With all the heat going on with PSN. I wanted to say the devs on Helldiver's 2. You made an amazing game you made a smash success of a title and you are getting review tanked for something not gameplay related. You all did great and I hope things are resolved in a way that the most people possible can keep diving.

From day 1, as developer, you guys should had informed players that there was a technical issue linking PSN account to Steam and the mandatory link requirement can be skipped temporarily until the issue had been resolved. With this, players from non-PSN countries were able to opt for refund. Then you and your publisher should instruct Steam to region lock Helldvers 2. Look at the present day, both are leaving a bad impression and experience to the gaming community. Lesson learn a big publisher is not always the best source of supports especially it is a giant corporation.
