Not posted for a while but I'm still working on the new zone captuer map. I had a few compiling issues with the map but it appears to b working ok now. I still have a little work to do on it, including a 3D skybox, but I will let everyone see it once the map is ready in a playable form.

That sounds remarkably like the map I had in mind for the now deceased aoc revamp project. much like the DoD Avalanche map.

Castle, cap and hold objectives. Only difference I see is six objectives instead of five.

I'm currently working on a new map. It's a capture zone map that takes place within the walls of a castle. There will be 6 areas to control in order to win the round. The area's will be the Church, the Market, The Sawmill, the Stone Mason, the Gallows and the Jousting Arena. Blaine, I may call the map Fort Haven.

Ok, I made a pack in which you can find the vmf and the materials files, please add me in order to give you this pack privately. So the next version of the map will be the V4 (included in the pack). Thanks again to dedicate your time for improving the map :)

Yes, I've taken a look at it but there's nothing really for people who might be intersted in producing maps for AoC. The team are all now busy developing the new game and I was thinking about a forum specifically aimed at peole who would like to make custom content for AoC. Something like the old forums on custom content. Not just mapping, but producing models, materials etc.

There's an AOC section over at the Chivalry forums now.

Does the game need new forums?

I have fixed a bug in the victory map that prevented the mason from completing the map if the Agathians constructed the wall around the village flag before the Agathian Lookout was killed. Please delete the map file from your list of maps so you can download the fixed version from my server.

Not really, it's been a while I don't make a map. But if you are interested to have the source of this map in order to improve it, just tell me.

Unfortunately it was found to be laggy on my PC. It would be nice to run a proper server just for custom maps. Are you still doing any mapping Fightspit?

For some reason the aoc_victory map in the map pack is not the finished map as the Masons are unable to see the barrel at the end of the pier once the Agathian lookout is killed. I am fixing the map.

Well that would be a nice idea but I can't afford to pay for it on my own. If i were to set one up who would be prepared to donate towards the running cost?
