The more a person reflects upon (the Quran), the more he will increase in knowledge, good deeds and understanding.

The revelation of this Book is from Allah—the Almighty, All-Knowing, the Forgiver of sin and Accepter of repentance, the Severe in punishment, and Infinite in bounty. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. To Him ˹alone˺ is the final return.

Those who persecute the believing men and women and then do not repent will certainly suffer the punishment of Hell and the torment of burning.

Believers fight for the cause of Allah, whereas disbelievers fight for the cause of the Devil. So fight against Satan’s ˹evil˺ forces. Indeed, Satan’s schemes are ever weak.

Surely the disbelievers spend their wealth to hinder others from the Path of Allah. They will continue to spend to the point of regret. Then they will be defeated, and the disbelievers will be driven into Hell.

(Surah Al-Anfal, 8:36)

Let those who would sacrifice this life for the Hereafter fight in the cause of Allah. And whoever fights in Allah’s cause—whether they achieve martyrdom or victory—We will honour them with a great reward.

(Surah An-Nisa, 4:74)

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "If someone engages in sexual intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill the animal." [Ahmad and others - Al-Arnaa’oot said its Isnad is Hasan]

Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawẓīyyāh said: "Whoever allows his eyes to roam freely carries his soul to the places of destruction."

Imām As-Sa'dee رحمه الله said: "Allāh has honoured the men with their beard wherein their beauty and dignity exists. Woe to the one who shaves or abuses it. A person like that has certainly been disobedient to his Lord openly."

Al-Hayy, The Ever Living

Allah is the "Ever Living (al-Hayy)": The one who has all the attributes of life in the most complete form e.g.hearing.seeing, knowing, "
power etc. Al-Hayy is the one who will never die, and nor is He touched by even the 'smaller death' (sleep). His life is absolutely perfect, and He alone gives life.

Al-Qayyūm, The Self Sustainer

Al-Qayyūm is the one who maintains all; but needs none to maintain Him. Everything within the heavens and the earth is dependent on Allah and needs Him to sustain and manage their existence. He, however, is completely Self-Sustaining, and independent of any of His creation.

There are ˹countless˺ signs on earth for those with sure faith, as there are within yourselves. Can you not see? In heaven is your sustenance and whatever you are promised.

Then by the Lord of heaven and earth! ˹All˺ this is certainly as true as ˹the fact that˺ you can speak!

Quran 51:20-23

If Allah helps you, none can defeat you. But if He denies you help, then who else can help you? So in Allah let the believers put their trust.

Quran 3:160

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullāh) said:

The Qur’an revives the heart the way water gives life to the Earth.

Imām Ka’b al-Ahbār says:


There is not a house except that Angel of death waits on it’s door and looks to it seven times a day, [to know] if there is anyone inside of it that he is commanded to take his soul.


al-Habā’ik Fī Akhbār al-Malā’ik

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said,

“The foundation of this Deen is:

A book that guides & a sword that bring victory!
& enough is Allah as a guider & supporter.”

Quran 50:5 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
