Mweb does not peer with Saix, MTN, or Vodacom locally. Which means if you are using Telkom as your ISP, or any ISP that uses SAIX bandwidth, your traffic will be routed internationally. So basically, instead of going from you straight to mweb, it goes from you to the uk and then back to mweb again. There has been a lot of discussions on mybroadband about it. Your best bet is to go with an ISP like Afrihost or Axxess. They cheap and peer with mweb in both CINX and JINX. Web Africa is also a great ISP, but they peer at CINX only, which means servers in JHB get routed internationally like with SAIX.

Im so keen to get home after work and play Black Ops. Had a quick match now during lunch and that patch they released has sorted out the lag issues (Except if you stupid enough to use Telkom as an ISP, then it's your own stupidity). I only have a week left to play, as from the 20th I won't have net for a month or so. Moving to a new house and need to make new internet arragnements :( Keen to see you guys online and have a good match. Lauaki, if you need help with the server still, let me know. Will be cool to have the Y!A one up and us dominating :P
