TF2 DATA LEAK WARNING

As I'm sure many of you have heard there has been a recent data breach for TF2 and other source games. What does this mean for you? Basically you are significantly more vulnerable in multiplayer matches. It is definitely possible that someone could install a virus on your machine by just being in the same server. Your items and steam profile could also be targeted. For your own safety we would advise that you hold off playing untill this problem has been resolved. I do not know how long that will be but we will keep you posted.

There will be consequences for posting/linking any downloadable material to the leak. It is ok to talk about it and to be informed. Stay safe my friends

tldr: Source code to CS:GO and TF2 torrent is now on public. A couple valve-community related items relating to leaks that have happened in the past and a unreleased source mod are contained inside this torrent. CSGO source code as of Operation Hydra and TF2 code as of Jungle Inferno are inside.

Be Careful! Steam API Scam Still NOT Fixed!

If you think your account has been hijacked follow this guide:

Remove any Steam/CSGO related browser extensions that aren't very well known (an unpopular extension can gather all the required information from your Steam account to execute this scam)

Change the password on your Steam account (Someone might be logged into your account)

Deauthorize devices from using your Steam account here: http://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/twofactor/manage. This will stop people from being able to auto login to your account on Steam without password. (I'm not sure if changing the password will already do this automatically, but it should)

Go on the Steam API key page https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/dev/apikey and if it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/3ZQjq, you must click on "Revoke My Steam Web API key". Scammers might have gotten your API key and they can use this to track your trade offers. If you do not have an API key you don't need to worry about this.

Reset your Steam trading URL here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/my/tradeoffers/privacy#trade_offer_access_url and click on "Create New URL". If the scammer had access to your account (with password or extension), they will have your trading URL and that allows them to send you trade offers. When you're sure that nobody else has access to your account by completing steps 1, 2 and 3, you must finally reset your trading URL.
