Hello all,

Firstly, I hope you're having a fabulous Wednesday (hey, you're halfway through the week). I'm currently procrastinating working on assignments and rather opting to browse reddit, and register our team for Season 9!

Wizard Lizards will be competing in Season 9 of CEVO-AM starting in January of 2016. The default match time is Wednesdays at 10:00EST/9:00CST. There is a registration fee of $7.50 (if registered before 2016) or $10.00 (if registering in 2016).

If you are wanting to participate in this CEVO season, message myself. The final roster will be announced sometime in December.

Have a great remainder of 2015, because 2016 will kick 2015's ass (because you'll be in the winning CEVO team, obviously). And of course, have a great day!

Hello all once again,

With Season 7 fast approaching, and Preseason right at our toes, it's time we have an official statement regarding our participation in Season 7.

We will officially competing in CEVO Season 7 under Wizard Lizards, in the Amateur Division. This is a paid division competing once per week against other teams in the immediate region, in our case NA East.

The roster is still tentative and undergoing changes currently. As of now, if you have been told by myself that you are officially on the team, you will be competing throughout the eight-match season definitively. The official roster as well as designated substitutes will be announced before the first official match on the 22nd of April.

Our first preseason match is Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00PM EST.

Hello all,

First off I'd like to thank all members of Wizard Lizards for contributing to the team during CEVO Season 6. We finished the season with a 3-5 record, 78 round wins, and one overtime win.

A new logo has been created for the team, downloadable here. This will be used for the new team logo as well as player avatars during official matches.

We will be continuing in CEVO-Free Season 7 under the name Wizard Lizards. A few changes will be made for the upcoming season. To begin, there will be a much stricter policy towards absences from games as well as roster shuffles. Changing the team lineup often decreases the quality of teamwork shown during games and hurts the performance of the team. Ensuring that the roster stays consistent throughout the season will only help to advance strengthen the team.

Secondly, practices will be mandated before games. Matches for which our team has practiced together have resulted in a much greater success for the team compared to those without a pre-match practice and/or scrim (see: de_nuke and de_season). These practices will consist of both offline dry-runs (smokes, strats, etc.) as well as scrims against other teams competing in CEVO.

The roster will also be undergoing a shuffle compared to last season. As there wasn't a fully consistent lineup last season for any length of time, it is yet to be determined who exactly will be playing next season. Some new talent may be recruited for the team, but whatever the case, the lineup should strive to be as consistent as possible, in terms of both practicing as well as who is playing during matches.

The official roster as well as designated substitute players will be announced before CEVO Season 7 begins, expected around April-May. Until then, continue to practice your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skills, and of course, have fun!
