Hello all. First off, I want to point out that yeah, discussions have been a bit dry and it's serious work to try and think of something new to either talk about, add to, or even try to see what else can spark interest. I have done my best to put as much effort as I can. I've updated the "Curator", added a few more discussions, and it's all I can do. I will continue to try and do my best to keep it active. My only real problem is that I also have a day job and it's sorta keeping me busy as well as moving to a new place of my own. I'll do my best to keep going, but some participation would be helpful as well. To all members of this group, I'll keep doing what I can to keep this place going.

Sadly I haven't done much to update or even done forums, mainly because of work, holidays, and sometimes just losing interest at times. Hi guys! I'm so sorry I haven't been around to addon anything on /comment to the group. I been moving the last month or so and with my laptop breaking down and no internet connected yet it's been quite the tough ride for me but now I'm getting back online. Hi guys! I'm really sick at the moment but will put up the competition Sunday 9th of march. It will probably just be the three games I have left from last competition that will be available as prizes since I had alot of unforseen expenses to cover when moving. And a third edited post which was only a single line added that I removed. I would guess that does it and we can forget about that from now on.

Well I found two more edited posts and am going to delete them since I can't find a way to roll back the changes. The posts are two made by Universal Magnum in the review section under the "Dark Sun" review. Sorry Universal Magnum but I think it's better to delete them than let a certain somebody spoil the thread like that.

I was wondering if there should be a thread for Skyrim somewhere in this group. Although it isn't an "old" game I see many of the members in here spending a decent amount of time on that game and am thinking it might be nice to have a thread for that. What's your opinion on the matter?

Yeah well it seemed he edited the posts to harass somebody. I just felt that it was being totally out of line. I've had a short exchange of opinions on the matter of which he was mad about and thought that was that but then I noticed he had edited some posts to ridicule somebody. That was not ok.

No, you did the right thing Probe. I don't like it when people edit my posts, even if it is the Admin. Unless it's justified, (Like someone said a dirty word or mentioned something that shouldn't be mentioned) no one should ever edit someone elses post. It makes it look slanderous and easily can make it look like someone said something they really didn't say. Overall, either let the post go, or "delete" posts, but never edit.

Hopefully something like that won't happen again. I'll consider wheter ppl should be able to edit other ppls posts at all.

If someone does that then they shouldn't be able to continue and just get forgiven. Probe you did a good job, he/she deserved it.

Hey guys! I'm sorry but I have thrown Multi out of this group. He edited other peoples posts and I felt that it was something that could not be tolerated. As I have stated before Admin status are given to anybody so that they can contribute and make this group a friendly and fun enviroment. Not in order to bash other people or edit other peoples material unless. I have rolled back the changes made by Multi as well as deleted the thread he had started.

Yeah well being busy also applies to having to save some money this month and I'm sort of waiting for a sale on some games that might be fun as prizes. I'm not really that rich and buying games for competitions does impact my day-to-day budget so bear with me here. Check in early March for for competition. Meanwhile feel free to contribute with reviews, comments, discussions and so on....

But it's only just started being Febuary

Sorry for not posting a competition this month. I've been kind of busy with lots of stuff going on in my life right now. I'll try and make a fun competition in the beginning of March. I've been kind of lazy these last few days but I'm planning to write and post a review sometime during this weekend. Can't quite decide on wheter it's going to be Dark Sun:Shattered Lands or Severance:Blade of Darkness.

I think there needs to be some sort of activity here if this group should become more than just a name on your profile so I encourage you all to write something in the discussions section. I'd really love to hear somebody's impression of the remake of Realms of Arkania as that is a game I'm keeping an eye out for (I'm still somewhat scared of bugs though so I haven't found the courage to dig in that specific hole yet).

Oh my...First lesson to be learned on forming and promoting a new group. Do not post threads about looking for members to join in certain games' discussion forums. 7 days ban from said forums might be the result. Oh well you live and learn.

Thx. It's still quite new and small but will hopefully grow into something exciting. I'm planning on making a review of a classic game when New Year is over. Gotta say though that I'm no wiz when it comes to setting up a group or making it look nice so it may seem a bit rough until I get a better hang of it. Any help and suggestions are more than welcome.

SKYRIM1 It's funny how our view of old games are different. Most of the games I think of when thinking "old" are mostly games released before 2000. That's not to say your view is wrong or anything and you having admin status makes it possible for you to add games to the list as you wish.

Thx. Retro games are really getting a revival these years I feel and I missed a place on Steam to discuss and get recommendations for old games or retro games. Hopefully the ambition of making it totally open/equal/friendly can work.
