Planes have been finalised... The Thunderchild is kicking ass left and right - We have a few airships functional and Hobbs is doing good work building some war rigs... Maps, some scene prefabs, almost ready to film some shots :)

yes! :) but when you gather more lift the faster you go.. You find the plane wanting to go higher and higher.. So if you want to fly through a tunnel for example, you have to be very carefull with your speed

Been working on the planes today.. I describe the problem with them to Hobbs earlier... The short version is that speed = lift which is not good, so I'm trying to find a way to counteract that lift.

So I have been trying to create a walking mechinisum for a short-legged tripod, Kind of like a creeper from Minecraft. So far I've not managed to build anything that can support much weight which it'll need to do... So I'm throwing it out there.. If anyone can make some headway with this.. It would be greatly appreciated.. Otherwise We'll just stick with my wheel'd tripod design!

Make it look like it's seen some action, and since been abandoned. I'm thinking shanty town kind of structures, light emcampments, an upturned car here and there. We want it to look messy but not dangerous. There will be a group of survivors camped near by.

Me too man! I'm starting to test recording software and trying out different lighting solutions.. But There is still alot of set design and contraptions to build before we start filming!

Who remembers this..? This spine chilling image of the preacher standing firmly against marching tripods, believing his faith will protect him. We MUST include this scene in WotM.
If anybody knows any amature singers that might be interested in recording a cover of 'The Spirit of Man' Let me know!

Been working on a structure to be used by a group of survivors as a 'home base'.
This will be placed next to a train track with a connecting tunnel. Keeping the living quarters inside the tunnel would reduce above ground presence, therefore reducing the chance of being spotted by roaming tripods.

Train carriage barracks/ living quarters is one idea I'm going to build on tomorrow.
building this without the use of Phx or sprops is very time consuming..

So tomorrow the plan is to finish the small biplane, draw some more of the storyboard. Maybe start a new build.. Thunderchild maybe? If anyone has created any scenes then I'd like to spawn some dupes in and take a few nice screenshots with them! :)

Personally I have a bunch of building addons, I'm using props from HL, CSs, Tf2, Portal maybe? I'm not sure.. I have some kind of cool explosive entity addon, ACF of course, sProps. Off the top of my head.. That's all I can think of!

Since starting this project I have met some really awesome people. And some people I really admire and respect. I spent the afternoon helping out some guys who are working on a gmod machinma. I rebuilt the infamous airboat plane and met the original creator, robert Stoneman! I
will post a quick 'update' video on progress sometime tomorrow!
