Hello everyone,
Im working on a mod at the moment. The mod adds new units and a building to recruit them for the empire (mainly) and high elves under tyrion (secondary; only a small collection of the units). Now to my questions: number one I asked me if it is possible to write a script which says that the recruitment building which is origanally only available for the empire becomes available for the highelves as soon as the empire and tyrion forged a military alliance? number two does anyone know how to write such a script?

Any way to enable the singleplayer campaign camera speed settings in multiplayer campaigns? If not, any way to change the default speed from normal to fast or fastest? I've been looking in the scripts section and campaign variables section, but I can't seem to find anything.

Does anyone know how events, incidents or missions work?

I'm trying to make a pop-up appear the first time you recruit each unit. I have got it triggering, except the problem is it triggers at the wrong time.
I want the event to trigger when you actually RECRUIT the unit, and its in your army. Instead the event is triggering when you BUILD the required military building. Eg you build Military 2 building, and the event will trigger as if you had recruited a Lothern Sea Guard or Archer with Light Armour (High Elf examples).

So does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem? Here's an example picture, and the tables I've been editing.

You could probably give Lords a trait that gives +x% income to offput the added cost.

@Minos oh alright. I wanted to try and give skaven zero upkeep while giving everyone else 5% flat across the board. Since they are a vemintide.

Now that'd mess up things for sure if it were the case. People with your settings would see my compensation filter like a serious suntan, for example.

404. But basically as soon as I pass them through a wsmodel my textures look like they are screened by high gamma and a bit of desaturation. They were completely fine while connected to a simple v2. I've been playing around with texture compression to no avail.

So far the safest thing was to avoid wsmodels or counterbalance the screwed up brightness on the texture itself.

@Cataph I think its either down to the DX of the texture or the Shader of the materials, i have a friend whos having the same trouble, to be honest i havent had that problem myself unless this is what your talking about

RIGIDS_MODEL_V2S DONT WORK ON SOME MODELS

Been doing some testing, switched stormvermin variants to rigid_model_v2s and they came out exactly like that despite not being touched.

However i did the same for the warlock parts and they are fine, seems we cannot edit certain textures unless we find a way to use wsmodels again

Error 404, but if you mean that they come out looking like an harlequin mask, it's happening to some random textures of mine too.

Anyone else experiencing odd trouble when editing textures?

Kinda looks like a placeholder texture is replacing the one im trying to add in, i can make out letters on some parts of the texture...

@LuckySpade - TWW multi anyone? get them to either reinstall the mod or verify the integrity of their game cache.

The problem is likely down to the mod not downloading correctly, doing this should fix anything that ought to be wrong.

Does anyone know what the cause of mods becoming corrupted is? I've released several mods so far and two of them have had issues wherein a small number of users cannot use them (crash on the startup screen). In both cases simply re-uploading the mod under a new name has fixed the issue. I don't understand why it would be affecting some users and not others.
