Hey guys! The spring/winter season is almost upon us! High School Starleague signup is now open for the following games:

- League of Legends
- Dota 2
- Hearthstone
- Osu!

I'll have a registration form available over the next couple days.

For those who don't know how this works: the HSL is the largest high school level tournament in North America. Players sign up as teams or solo (depending on the game) through their school. They play a match every weekend for a predetermined amount of weeks in a Swiss Style bracket. Top places in each group then get placed into the playoffs. There are prizes on the line and typically they are quite good as the HSL has some large sponsors including Riot Games.

NOTE: There is no limits to the amount of teams we register so I recommend everyone to join!

Also, we'll be at open house on Tuesday in the libaray. ALSO, we will NOT be in the library after school on Tuesday. We will be setting up a couple Smash setups and having that running during the tours.

We are looking for people to volunteer and/or bring setups for either Sm4sh or Smash Melee. I think dinner is provided and you get some hours for service hours.

Also, I know this is a bit late but Registration for the Vancouver School Board eSports: League of Legends ends on Monday. This is a much more limited event and games are twice a week: Wednesday and Sunday. A major difference between the HSL and VSBE is that there is an entry fee of $30 per team. I can't guarantee it but I would try to get the school to pay for it but we'll only see if we actually get funding.

So yeah, sign up is linked below if you want to join. I recommend that the teams who have won our inhouse tournaments join this tournament.

Meeting tomorrow! This meeting is mandatory. I'll give out clothing forms, talk about some other stuff then you guys can leave or stick around and play Smash or whatever else we have there. Bring your Wii/Gamecube controllers if you want to smash!

Another reminder to sign up for the League of Legends tournament! The winners of this month along with October will be competing in the first version of the Vancouver School Board eSports tournament. Sign up is free and playing time is very flexible. Remember, the main point of this tournament is to have fun. You will have more fun signing up as a team rather than a free agent. If you want to find players for a team, post in this group!

Also, the clothing order will be ready for next Tuesday. We will be meeting then to discuss clothing further and we will hand out order forms. As of now, we have hoodies, tshirts, jackets, golf/polo shirts, and long sleeves. If you wish to add something to this order, tell me now before it's too late. Pricing is actually quite good. I was very surprised about that.

Hey everyone, reminder that tomorrow, as per usual, we'll be in the library after school. Remember to bring your form if you want access to the Wi-fi!

If you want to bring in a Wii or Gamecube for smash, go ahead. Please note that you need to have an HDMI cable to connect it to the monitors in the library.

Also, bring your own controllers for smash!
