What to do, i wanna use the program for CSGO.
I have my csgo install on "H://" not normal C: Drive.
Feel free to add me, if you wanna help me out! :)
When I want to 'release' my map to the workshop, what compile should I use? (Final or Full)?
Also, when I compile it, the static props are just black, how do I fix that?
I can't stand the idea of compiling maps for either of the games without this tool!
Pain in the ass really, since i want to have day/night versions
One easy solution however is to drag & drop your GameConfig.txt file onto the VBCT top panel. VBCT will read the GameConfig.txt and implement those pathways regardless of what disk it's installed on. You can then click the "SAVE CFG" button and the next time you start up VBCT it will automatically reload your SDK settings.
In order for this to work, you need to run the hammer.bat file (in the bin folder) for each of the MODs on the different disk you want to work on, go to tools > options and set things up first.
When you are able to edit and compile from within Hammer, then drag and drop that GameConfig.txt file onto the VBCT top panel and it will then work on that MOD.
Kax, I'll also look at the issue with multiple drives again, unfortunately steam doesn't provide a clean way to tell developers what disks that parts of the game are located.
I've tried running it in compatibility mode with no dice. I'd really like a solution soon as VBCT is my favourite solution to map compiling.
Really missing using this otherwise great piece of software.
Your Program, VBCT. It's a OpenSource, mybe and please can your Source - Code to provide? Because, I am Programming too ;)
Go to: Control Panel\Personalization\DPI Scaling and reset this back to Default. You'll have to restart your system to make this change happen.
hello,
please, fix you programm. I can not resize the window. See you my links.
and please active the maximal windows-button your programm.
Thank you

"InstallDir" "D:\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch"
even though I moved that game over to my F: drive.
I might be looking at the wrong part of this file.. but it looks fine to me.
Anarchy, I'm working on the problem of content on multiple drives but unfortunately Valve has made this difficult by not providing a path in the registry or environment to locate content in locations other than the main steam folder.
Just to be clear though, custom compile modules are not supported and results may be very unpredictable.
Been sitting in Full compile for 10 minutes on this line:
-------------- Start Compile BSP ----------------

Where should I place the GameConfig file? I've palced it both in (...)/team fortress 2/bin
and in (...)/common/SourceSDK
(The map is for TF2)
let me know if you have any problems!
