@Bumbefly Sony Test: Yes that is the steamcommunity glitch. Don't know the reason for it but it happens to me too sometimes even as an admin although most of the time it is normal for me. It is just a visual thing though and does not influence anyone's ability to post comments or be part of the group so not a big issue just a minor nuisance so don't let it bother you it doesn't affect your membership status and others see you as a member of this group just fine as well.

@ Gremmerz police officer™ : I found this group via The Giving One's profile (& your comments there). I could join this group and only after joining the "join" button changed into "Membership by invite only". Maybe that is related to the bug you discuss at the Giving One's profile?

Good idea. I already invited all my friends (most have joined) and continuously invite people who support the anti-hacker cause. Because of abuse (reinviting VAC banned accounts) the invite system is limited to officers but you can still tell your friends about the group, can post a status update mentioning the group (which will appear in your friends' activity feed), can make the group your primary group so people see it when visit your profile and so on, that will spread the word further.

maybe if we all invite all the friends we have and we tell them to do the same thing we'll be more in that goup and bieng one of the bigest group so valve will see that and will listen to us and then the cheater will get the ♥♥♥♥ out of the games and we'll have fun !

I found out something. Apparently, if you family share with someone who has the same game, you will only play your own copy. So if player A and player B are family sharing and they both have TF2. When player A plays TF2, he will only play HIS OWN COPY. And only player A gets banned if player A cheats in TF2.

Is this true?

Yes that is intentional. Otherwise people would just family share to their alts and do not receive a VAC ban when cheating (only the alts would so would not need to rebuy the game to start fresh).

Only family share with trustworthy people. If anyone cheats in the game you own (your own account or someone who you family share your game with) then you will receive the ban because it was your game.

Completely fair and justified, that is how it works since family share was introduced. His ban will not be lifted. The end. :steammocking: :tgrin:

Yeah they always have some sort of fairy tale excuse. Even if it was family sharing it is his responsibility still, so tough luck, the ban will stay. :lol:
