Thank you for taking an interest in joining United Sector Taskforce.

UST stationed at Deep Space Seven operates within the Pi Canis Sector block close to the Gateway system and between three borders; Federation, Klingon and Romulan (Rihannsu).

Our primary objective is to honor and maintain the founding principles established by the Federation. We provide humanitarian aid to the scattered Rihannsu colonies and maintain military stability to surrounding sectors while continuing Starfleets mission to explore strange new worlds in the surrounding area.

Fleet Projects Change - Fleet Mail Sent 17/10/2015

Hello all,

I'd just like to let you all know about some changes that will be ongoing with the way Fleet Projects are handled.

Going forward, we will be maintaining an average minimum provisioning level of 200 across all fleet holdings, given to certain ongoing demands, for example, Fleet Ships, if this level gets down to below 50, it is unlikely that these provisions will be used as fast as those used for Fleet Consoles.

So, what will this mean for you?

Basically, not much, this is being done for two main reasons. One, this will allow us to complete our starbase faster. And two, if you are in the need of Fleet Credits, you can instead donate to our Armada fleets. This will allow us to progress farther, our Armada to progress farther, and hopefully all with minimum impact to anyone.

External Chat Access

Hi all,

If you were one of the people who used to access the fleet chat externally, this has now been disabled. I am unsure if this is intentional or not, the XMPP chat interface was only ever really intended for use by the developers and a few beta testers during the Foundry beta, while it was expanded to more general use, I still don't think it's fully supported.

However, we have a bit of a workaround.

A separate in-game channel has been set up, simply named "UST".

To join in-game, type /channel_join "UST" into the chatbox, or if you want to set it up externally, or have never used the external chat. Please use this video tutorial here:
