Recently there has been an outbreak of Phishing attacks seem to have been spreading through the community. I myself was compromised, and have only gotten access to my account again today. 14/02/2020

Please be wary when following links, and Do Not click on anything regarding a "Yanex Smith-Gov" This is a fake or compromised Steam support account that is making very real attacks to steal money.

I myself haven't lost anything, but I have received messages from friends that my stolen account attacked, who -have- lost money.

This is not something that should have ever been allowed to happen, but I post this here as a warning, because the infection came to me from "Bad Humour" and then infected me, an Ex-contest host, and host of this group.
My account then infected Co-host "Bored Arsonist/BA Stratus" So this seems to me to be something that's spreading through our community.

The attacks start off with a friend of yours messaging you, saying that they accidentally reported you for marketplace fraud, and if you follow though, a compromised steam support account will attempt to hijack your account by masquerading as steam, and asking for details.

Please.. Stay Vigilant, Stay Safe.. and shut this fucker down.

tl;dr: I need a replacement/replacements.

SE doesn’t have the same community it used to when I started playing. Back then, I'd recognize “the regulars” on the forums. I met many people through this game. I came back to this game after a long hiatus. It seems the community is very different than it used to be. I still recognize people but the community these days seems way smaller. After learning these contests were about to shut down, I was offered the position of a host. I said “yes” because I believe that these contests can really push creators to create amazing things and grow. However, I did not anticipate some of the issues I would have.
My friends I met through SE no longer play as much as they used to, if at all. Some even stopped playing around the same time or shortly after I started hosting these contests. As a result it’s extremely hard to find judges (part of why I started acting as a judge myself).

These contests take up time. It isn’t as much time as one would think (I do not wish to complain) but it does add up. Coordinating with the judges is beginning to become extremely taxing, however. Simply put, I don’t have many reliable judges. The judging times have become extremely long as a result as there sometimes aren’t enough people who are available every month. I could be the only judge but these contests need more than one set of eyes. I don’t find these extended judging periods acceptable and as a result feel it would be better to have someone else with a wider and more active net take over. While I do enjoy creating these scenarios, I cannot continue to do so if there is no way to evaluate them in a timely manner.
My biggest problem right now is that I don’t have a person to pass these contests on to. I need someone who can create contest scenarios that are fun, fair, and push the contestants to become better builders. I also need someone who has a network of talented individuals who are able to judge.
These are no longer tied to the UESC (and haven’t been for a while). Since they are now Community contests, it would make sense for someone “in the community” to take over. If you would like to run these, please respond to this. It helps if there are two hosts so ideally I’m looking for two individuals who are interested in hosting these. I will say that it is extremely rewarding seeing what people are able to build. I hope we will be able to ensure that these contests can continue.

As a side note, the current contest (59) will still be judged and past judging will still be completed. I don’t want this to be interpreted as these contests cannot be judged; it’s just that it’s extremely cumbersome to judge future contests at this point and believe the best thing moving forward is a change.
