anyone else had problems with the mac copy where it thinks you are playing the demo not the actual purchased game

Yes it is possible, the steam dlc will work on a physical version (disc) of tw2 as long as you have downloaded tw2.

I got the collector's edition of two worlds II for Christmas. I haven't had a chance to install or play it yet so I was wondering, can I buy the pirates of the flying fortress dlc and use it on my copy of the game, or can the dlc only be used on a steam version of the game? Right now steam has it for the cheapest, so I'd like to buy it while the price is low as long as I can use it with my copy of the game. Is this possible?
