Wait a moment, I know how to really get to the bottom of this. I know a way to find out if this really is reality, or if it really is just my brain! I'm going to tell a joke to you, BurtonJ, and you have to guess the punchline. If you correctly guess the punchline, then I am indeed dreaming, and you are not real. BUT, if you do not get the punchline, then this may actually be reality. Of course if you were fake, my brain would try and trick me by making you not know the punchline of the joke.
