hey gump you should be able to use bulldozer cpu in any socket AM3+ board im not 100% on that but from what i've heard you can.

@NightShade You should be fine getting that GTX 460. Your CPU should be able to handle, but if I were you I'd definitely also think about getting 2 more gigs of ram, especially since you have a 64-bit operating system.

I saw you on youtube and i think you can help me with upgrading my PC, i like playing computer games, but i don´t have much many for Sandy Bridge.

My PC:

CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600 2,4 GHZ
MB: Intel DP35DP (i can´t overlocking on it, because Bios is from Intel)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 4670 512 MB GDDR 4
RAM: 2x1 GB 800 MHz Kingston
PSU: 350 W ModeCom (i know it needs better)
HDD: 40 GB for O.S. and 250 GB (i don´t need more)
O.S.: Windows 7 64 bit
Monitor: 19" Samsung 940BF 1280x1024 75 Hz

What is the best way to upgrade? I woud like to buy some GTX 460, but can it handle my CPU? Thank you very much.

Just got an NZXT Tempest Evo for christmas. Hoping to get a couple of 6850s for crossfire and a Cooler Master V6GT soon for my Phenom II X4 940, which is getting way too hot with my current heatsink.
