I'm seeing some talk about the Brummbar. The tank is awesome, I love it. However - Countering it will require SU-85s or Mark Target. Mark Target shows just how squishy the thing can be.

The Brummbär is the holiest of vehicles available to the Reich. Obviously, if you haven't seen one yet, you are fighting terrible German players. Beware when one shows up. Every single Soviet vehicle should be very afraid, including the SU-85 and ISU-152. Your infantry will be instantly shredded. I suggest you immediately garrison nearby buildings, especially churches, where you should begin a long prayer regimen if you want to have any hope of defeating the Brummbär.

Inquisitor Lok. Herro all. And what are these Brummbars?? I don't think i've seen a german make them yet in the few games ive played aha

I haven't build one yet, though I did use one in the closed beta (when the game was barely playable for me, on an older PC).

120mm mortars are superb, though. Never forget that. Spam them and attack move a destination, and stuff just dies.

The only weakness the Brummbär has is mines. But luckily you can just get anti-mine packages for your Pioneers, which should be spammed to support the Brummbär, god of vehicles.

Brummbars are undoubtedly massively overpowered in terms of cost, ability and durability. Teching to them is an automatic win nearly.

As a first step for learning how to play CoH2, I recommend all German players tech immediately to Brummbär. It is the best unit and you don't need anything else.
