The server hasn't been updated yet, and I can't get a hold of Rockn-Roll, so it seems there won't be a training session today. Hopefully next week.

I've got a mouse and a server. I'm starting Basic Training sessions back up. Let's try Saturdays at 11AM PST again.

mouse port on MB died...no time...No Server.

It happened in that order. It looks like training sessions aren't going to happen for at least 6 weeks. I hope to have everything smoothed out and start up training again around mid April. By then I should have my student loan paid off, a new 1333Mhz motherboard and DDR3 1333Mhz RAM with a 3.0Ghz (1333Mhz FSB) quad core processor installed; plus, start getting some parts to get my car back on the road. Then I'll be able to buy a server and do the training up right...including spending some time developing some training maps that use bots for practice i.e. an engineering bot who keeps building a dispenser and sentry so you can practice sap & stab, etc.

OK, if you don't get the reference then you haven't seen The Chronicles of Riddick. He's got full admin for the community groups as well as admin on the training server.

I keep missing the training sessions. Between my new job, the new mouse, the time I put into my force-feedback brake pedal, etc. I just have not had time to even play TF2. Heck I haven't even fired up TF2 all week, nor have I spent any time racing.

I've been getting waking up at 7AM and getting home at 7PM. Plus, I went to a Kings game on Wednesday straight from work so that night I didn't get home until 10PM. I don't see myself finding any time for the next few weeks...hopefully 00T00 will want to run some training sessions.

Server config has been reset, I don't have admin now

I've sent a message to Ratty, but he's offline. We will have to see if he gets it set up in time for the noon session.

But, in any event it might be better to cancel the noon session...I need to study for my new job I'm started Monday.

I've finally bought a USB mouse...stupid wheel replacing my most used middle button...I have no idea why mouse manufacturer's didn't ADD a wheel instead of REPLACING a button which was being used for crucial system function. So, I'll be trying some new configs and such...please be patient.

I over slept. I was up all night working on my force feedback brake pedal on my momo and forgot about the early schedule. I'm really sorry...I was ready to start using bots in this session too. And, it would have been fun to check out the new version of well with the players that usually show up...most especially 00T00 who has been indispensable.

Additional Demoman and Soldier Training

Due to the Advanced sessions being cancelled for Demoman and Soldier we can spend some extra time on these two classes...mostly jump training...both in the jump map to get everyone's skills down and in various standard maps for some practical practice.
