I have it installed on my PC, the last version of it anyways. There was a server dubbed "The last TF2 Classic server" but it shut down this morning because nobody played on it.

I saw a note on the TF2C Home Page today, and it says that it's 'Opening Soon'. It's possible a new release may be announced at some point in the future, but for now, all we can do is wait.

theve said that the curent beta is so outof date that its better its removed from what i can understand they are bug testing the game and stress testing to make sure everything is working right

They *might* have removed the link becasue they are preparing for an update to the game and don't want older versions on the site. If the change to the website is an indicator, then the update will be soon.
