Hey guys,

I have an idea, but I'd like to get the feedback of the collective before deciding if I will or will not go forward with it.

The idea I have is to include unobtainable craft #1 items on the roster.

What this does not mean:

- Representing craft #1 items on the roster which belong to players who are not a part of the collective.

- Representing craft #1 items on the roster which belong to players who are permanently tradebanned, or incapacitated in some way, which prevents their items from ever leaving their backpack.

What this does mean:

- Listing craft #1 items on the roster which are completely extinct, and now have no owner. For example, craft #1 items which were wiped by Valve, or deleted on purpose by their owner.

I know that there are a few instances of this happening *a gust of wind blows by, and then a single, sad tear rolls down my cheek*, most recently with dav3's craft #1 items. I'm sure that there are others, but I can't remember specifically. I think the Apparition's Aspect #1 is gone, but I'm not 100% on that.

So what do you guys think? Is it a good idea to represent these items on the roster? Our ultimate, final boss top tier legendary level goal is total and complete representation of all craft #1 items existing at a given time. Representing these unobtainable craft #1 items will help round out our roster when that time comes, instead of having a bunch of missing items on the roster that viewers won't know the stories behind. It would also be a use for the notes column on the roster which no craft #1 items use so far.

Feedback on if this is a good idea or not would be appreciated. Suggestions are also welcome, as well as tips about what YOU have heard, or know. If you heard that a certain craft #1 item went extinct, please comment and share that information within the collective. It would be interesting to know for sure just how many times a craft #1 item has been lost.

Recently, I have been made aware of members who may have traded, sold or received new craft #1 items without posting a comment on the collective's profile.

If you think you're one of these people, I strongly recommend you check the roster and post a comment if you neglected to do so before, so that the roster remains accurate. I shouldn't have to look through every profile to find out what is and isn't there, and I ask of nothing from the majority of you, except to spread the word and represent the collective throughout your journeys on the internet.

If I have to find out myself that you couldn't be bothered to post a comment that takes 2 seconds to post, then I'll have to reconsider if I can be bothered to take 2 seconds out of my life to keep you updated on the roster, or to have you in the collective at all. I like to think that we have a really cool thing going here, and that we can all work together to keep everything accurate and up-to-date.

So if you forgot to tell me about a trade or a new #1 item you got your hands on, please do it now. For those who have been commenting religiously and following the rules (you know who you are), disregard this announcement; you're great!

A reminder: Any changes to your inventory in regards to #1 items, such as trading or selling them away, or acquiring new ones, must be documented on the collective's profile in the form of a comment as soon as possible. It is one of the collective's most important rules.

I already dedicate my free time to maintaining everything; a brief comment that takes 2 seconds to post is a very small thing to ask.

I am not going to hunt down every single trade in the collective and pore through backpacks to see what items are there. It's not practical, nor is it something that I want to do, so make sure to report changes on the collective's profile.

Breaking the rules constantly can lead to ejection from the collective. It's something that I really, really don't want to do, but I'll do it if I have to. Thankfully, the majority of you do really well at following the rules.

Hey guys, just letting you all know that I drafted up a concrete set of rules which will govern what actions I take in certain situations.

Recently, there was a problem within the collective, and after an investigation, a member had to be ejected. After this, Shadow thought it would be a good idea to expand on the previously ultra-brief rules with a more thorough and concrete set of rules that can act as a basis for any disciplinary actions that may take place, so I took the time to type up a set of rules.

ALL MEMBERS MUST ABIDE BY THESE NEWLY POSTED RULES, SO PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THEM.

As the owner, I maintain and update the collective's profile and roster manually. I conduct investigations into complaints by our members. I spend my own time doing all of this, making sure everything is as accurate and as close to perfect as possible for all of us. I ask of very little from the members, so all members are expected to abide by the newly posted rules.

Also, I created a roster to replace the massive and inaccurate roster which used to be on the collective's profile. Shadow had started work on a similar roster for the collective in the past, a comprehensive roster which attempted to catalog as much information as possible about all of the craft #1 items in TF2. This roster is similar to that one, but smaller in scope and closer to the one which used to be on the collective's profile.

The previous roster referred to owners of craft #1 items by name only, which created problems when our members changed their names. This new roster links each item's owner to an unchangeable steam64ID URL which stays constant even through name changes, making the roster much more accurate. Also, the last roster was on the profile, which has a 3000 character limit, limiting the amount of items and members I could add to it. This new roster completely bypasses that problem.
