Hey, hope you're enjoying your Christmas.

The ever-benevolent Valve have made one of our favorite titles, Left 4 Dead 2, free for everyone today so if you don't already have it, you should go ahead and pick it up now. Look forward to seeing you in-game, and we'll hopefully get a few L4D2 events going over the next few months.

On a side-note, speaking of free Steamgames, we're giving some away on the StormBit IRC Network which you can get to here[iris.stormbit.net].

Starbound server online!

Hi folks,

Our Starbound server is up and running at sbg.arghargh200.net! It joins our Unreal Tournament 2004, Minecraft 1.6.4 Vanilla, Xonotic 0.7.0, and Garry's Mod 13 servers! There is no password to any of these, and they are all found on the same address on their default game ports, sbg.arghargh200.net. Enjoy!

Another Killing Floor Event!

Last time was fun, so let's do it again! This time we'll try and get 8 player slots open, and there will be plenty of slots for spectators so you can hop in when other people leave.

Promotions! Killing Floor Event!

On Thursday, I was promoted in the StormBit Steam group. Since the group has been dead for almost a year, I figured I'd try and organize some events and games and stuff like that. So first off, Alex and I will be setting up a Killing Floor server! If you own KF, install it and join us on Monday 19th August at 8PM BST for Killing Floor!
We've got an IRC channel up with a relay bot in #killingfloor on IRC (irc.stormbit.net), so if you can't play then you can still hop in and chat with the people playing! Note that this event will only be a trial run to see how smoothly it goes.
