Hey guys, the tourney is tomorrow. We have to be in the server, ready to play at 2:00pm EST. That means we should have everyone on Steam and in communication by 1:30pm. We are using s4p's mumble server for voice communications, and sbf's practice server for our games.

The way things are set up, we play on ctf_turbine_pro_b1 at 2:15pm, then cp_follower at 3:15pm, then plr_panic_b2 at 4:15pm. If we win our group, we go on to koth_lakeside at 5:30pm, and if we win that match, pl_retawdab at 8pm.

If you're in this group, we really want you to come out. We have been cutting it close up till now just having a full team, and we have never had a full team practice(haha). So getting 9 people to show up tomorrow is not something we can just assume will happen, we need everyone to be there. I know for some of you I just sort of asked if you wanted to play in a tourney, but this was a bit tricky to get into, and there will definitely be people watching this tourney, so lets try and field a full team and give this our best shot.

And finally, before we fail miserably and I quit speaking to all of you in anger over how you've embarrassed me, I wanted to thank all of you for playing in this tourney with me, and "practicing" with me, and loaning the team the use of servers for the tourney and during practices, and putting up with me spamming people about sudden, crappy practices where we just lobby with 3-4 people, and all the other mistakes I've made being a total noob at putting together a tf2 team for anything, and being a noob competitive tf2 medic. I didn't realize when I started this ♥♥♥♥ exactly all it would entail, so thank you guys for helping, guiding, and following me through it. And I guess, for letting my name be the team tag, although that ♥♥♥♥ was going to happen either way really.

Hey everybody, we're trying to organize a practice on this Sunday, August 5th, either afternoon or evening depending on everyone's availability. If you could let me know if you can't make it at all, I'd appreciate it. We're hoping to scrim with another highlander team, but at the very least we will lobby, check out the maps for the tourney on our server, and talk about the roster, rules, and whatever.

Was there ever any doubt?! ...well, yes, but not anymore!
Reminders - The tournament is on Sunday, August 12th. They say it should start around 2pm, EST. Hmm, I just noticed I posted the wrong date somewhere else, saying it was the 5th. That is wrong, the mentoring tournament is on that date, our tournament is on the 12th.

I've just confirmed that we are still interested in playing, so soon I should be invited to a steam group for team leaders, so we can probably set up some practices with other teams, but we really should do some practice if anyone knows good teams to scrim with.

Ok everybody, we are drawing a blank on finding a really solid Engineer for our team, so we need some help finding or suggesting someone to fill that role.

Also, just to say it again so everyone knows, the tourney is on Sunday, August 5th. I do not know yet when it starts on that day, but be aware it will likely be a several hour commitment. All teams are guaranteed to play at least 3 maps, and the winners of the tourney will have played 5, according to the tourney FAQ. As of right now, the tourney uses the UGC white list for weapons. More info about tourney rules and schedule will be posted here on the group page when they are announced.
