The latest steam beta seems has streaming performance problem again on hardware encoder (NVIDIA cards). In some complex game scenes, there are significant frame drops in steam link app (such as 120 drop to 70-80), but the latest non-beta (May 25th) do not has the problem.

I tested it between steam beta and non-beta in different games on a NVIDIA 4090 card, please check these videos for detail:

this update made me unable to open friendslist wtf

this update and the steam overlay update made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to use the steam link app and the hardware product.
the steam overlay is buggy and damn slow even on a decent pc
i want the old steam overlay back before the steam deck
