Just recently I have been experiencing my game recordings having eardrum breaking volume due to the mic having way too much gain. I don't have automatic game control on (although i did test it and there was no change). I tried turning down my mic's gain and no difference. Toggled all other available options too. My mic is fine in all other software and even in counterstrike etc so it isn't my mic settings in steam.

Is anyone else having this issue?
