As the title says, when I start a game it doesn't have background recording until I start a broadcast and stop the broadcast. Only then will it start actually recording my gameplay. It's a shame because I always forget to do this until there's something I want to watch again from the background recording. This only started recently after they released that new steam broadcasting update a few weeks ago.
Has anyone had this issue and is there a fix so I can get it to work how its supposed to? I've tried messing around with the broadcast settings, completely disabling it, and turning recording off and on again, but nothing I do seems to work.
