Yeah, also in the DLC tab, but that feels like a workaround many people might not find, considering they knew the button was right there under play, until someone started playing.

I think this is just a bug for now, since previous family sharing is still on. Hope they add the button to change this from the games screen

I had the same problem, however I don't see the option to "change the preferred copy" even though there are 3 owners of the game in the family and only 1 of them was playing at the time.

Yeah I have the same problem with dying light 2, but in my case:
we have 2 copies and even if anyone is playing it my firend can't play it because it says that somebody else is alredady playing

Same. Some games have this option, some don't

Is there a way to kick someone off the copy of the game you own if you want to use that copy in particular? Especially if you own it?

No.

I think my Batman games are bugged... I can't seem to change my prefer copy for that specific series alone from a family member, to my own copy... even the ones with different sets of DLC.

The Batman Arkham games, whether the ones installed or not... doesn't happen to any other game. Don't know why.

My friends and I are having a similar issue to this but with some Call of Duty games (IW and Black Ops 1 to be specific). Did you find a way to change preferred copy on the games that had no button for them?

I have encountered this problem with balatro. Almost everyone on my family owns the game (myself included) but i cannot play the game or change the preferred copy

Balatro doesn't have any DLC? Why would you need to change preferred copy?

So me and my friend own 2 copies of the game but i want to use my own copy even though i select my copy as preferred one it doesn’t change it. Please help
