straight up wrong, you can already use the controller on pc but you have to use workarounds. steam could just automate what tools that are already available do.

This tool is very limited, though. With this setup, the potentiometer maxes at about -28000 left, 26000 up, 24800 right, -24000 down. Some of these values are low enough that games don't natively read them as full presses. There is no option to use rumble. There is no support for the GL/GR buttons. And I'm pretty sure you can't use gyro controls, which is a huge downgrade from the Switch Pro Controller.
