A bit longer than a month. It's been broken for quite some time.
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/0/592886396651363092/
It was just broken in the beta but with the last mainline branch update, it broke for everyone.
Sadly the norm.
Bug gets reported multiple times > bug does not get fixed > bug lands in the stable branch > bug gets fixed after some time.
But personally, I find the overall communication lacking:
No acknowledgement of (properly formatted) bug reports, only rarely do we get a "bug will be fixed" reply, ignored bug reports could either be "WONT FIX" or just overlooked, etc.
So it is often unclear if a bug report has been acknowledged / reproduced, will be fixed next version, won't be fixed at all or was never seen by an employee.
I understand that the Valve employees might not monitor these forums around the clock, but at least a bit more communication and acknowledgement besides patch notes would be appreciated.
Really wonder wth they messed up in 'client'
