I am experiencing a persistent bug in Counter-Strike where opening the Steam Overlay (Shift + Tab) prevents me from typing messages not only in the Steam chat but also in other applications, such as Google, while the game is running.

This happens regardless of the key combination I use for the overlay. Even changing the overlay shortcut to combinations like Ctrl + Shift + O, Alt + Shift + O, or Ctrl + Alt + F12 does not solve the issue.

When the overlay is opened during gameplay:

Keyboard input in Steam chat becomes unresponsive.

Typing in other programs, such as browsers (Google, etc.), is also blocked.

The problem appears to be related to the overlay capturing keyboard focus while CS is active.

Steps to reproduce:

Launch CS through Steam.

Open the Steam Overlay (Shift + Tab or any other shortcut).

Try to type a message in Steam chat or in any other application.

Expected behavior:

The overlay should open without interfering with typing in the chat or other applications.

Please look into this issue, as it prevents communication and multitasking while playing the game.
