TL;DR: see player count rising and join, prevent buying dead online games

I just wonder because it would be more useful, than going to sites like steamcharts or steamdb every time to see what is the current player count in you games, especially in niche ones, that get around ~10k on launch and then sometimes drop to less than 1k and could be rising in this specific moment for me to see.
Also, Steam could alarm you on store page about low or very low player count at the moment, e.g as for BattleBit Remastered. The game initially sold good and if I wouldn't have knew current state of it I could buy it later and get seriously dissapointed as well wasting time to refund for multiplayer games, as well as coop ones.
