Switch 2 Pro Controller occasionally becomes horribly delayed

From my experience using the Switch 2 Pro Controller on Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, the Switch 2 Pro Controller randomly becomes super delayed to the point of becoming unplayable. This issue isn't related to the Gyroscope controls to my understanding. I have tried to keep it off by assigning it to a button and never turning it on, but it still happens.

This is on Windows 10

I've tried a controller test. Seems the controller in general can be EXTREMELY laggy and unresponsive to most inputs. It also holds almost all inputs for a full second, as if the controller itself runs at 1 frame per second.

I think I have a theory on why this is happening

On my previous test run, it ran perfectly well with just my Switch 2 Pro Controller. Usually, I have my Switch 1 Pro Controller in case I need to play something else that has the Switch 2 Pro incompatible, mainly non-Steam related things. This time, I had it off and it ran perfect for 3 races with no sign of lag.
