ISSUE
The hardware survey identifies my system as a laptop despite it being a desktop tower. The system has been surveyed as a desktop before. However, I've since gotten a Cyberpower 1350VA UPS with a battery backup that the system is aware of through USB connection. Windows 10 has identified the battery and it appears as a plugged in battery in the system try. I suspect that the survey is using that to tell whether or not the system is a laptop.
