GameRecording: 'entries' field in timeline_x_x.json gets saved as object instead of array.
ISSUE
GameRecording: "entries" field in timeline_x_x.json gets saved as object instead of array.
While I guess I can't be sure this is the problem, changing entries back to an array solved the problem.

Example -
{
"entries": {
"0": {...},
"1": {...}
}
}

OS
Windows 11

STEPS - ??? (I'm unsure what to put here as I was just browsing the timeline and saving clips)

RESULTS
Timeline markers disappear and the "Save / Share" button becomes inoperable.

EXPECTED
Timeline markers should not disappear and the "Save / Share" button should work

do you have "steam Overlay" ticked as yes?
i found that has to be ticked for recordings to work for unknown reasons.

That is unrelated to this issue

I believe I'm having the exact same issue. I started running into it as soon as I started trying to use the timeline markers which is super annoying. I'd really like to use them but they just seem to break everything right now
Same started happening to me after recording CS2.
It allows exporting 2–3 clips to clipboard, and then the Export button stops responding.
After closing and reopening Steam Recordings, all markers from the recent session are missing, and export no longer works.

I checked the timeline.json, and indeed entries are stored as an object with numeric keys instead of an array.
