Downloads are frequently corrupted on machines with network interfaces faster than 1 Gb/s.

Successful download

ACTUAL RESULT
Sometimes successful but frequently shows as corrupt. Sometimes does not show as corrupt but upon manual verification is actually corrupt. Have to retry, sometimes repeatedly, till the download succeeds and have to manually verify every download that says it's successful lest it be completely unstable because it's corrupt and not detected by the automatic verification.

Was not a problem with any machine up through my machines with 1 Gb/s network interfaces. Started being a problem once I got a machine with a 2.5 Gb/s network interface and has been a problem on my later machine with a 5 Gb/s network interface as well. Could even go back and successfully download the same file on the 1 Gb/s network interface without incident while it frequently failed on the 2.5 Gb/s interface. Issue actually occurs in both the standard and beta version of the Steam client. Tried contacting support but they tried to tell me my hardware was broken and refused to even treat it as a bug report. Have tried every troubleshooting suggestion for corrupt downloads to no avail (changing download region, clearing cache, reinstalling everything).
