i like the group, its nice to get skilled/dedicated players to actually finish an expert campaign.

but i have a question about the surplus vouchers;

since the price of the hats etc. that you get at game end on mvm have dropped dramatically, most selling for only 1.33 refined, and the surplus tickets sell for about 2.66-3 refined these days, it isnt clear what the benefit of using a surplus ticket is any more. When MvM was first lauched, the hats were rare and cost a lot more, but now im just not sure. yes you do get SIX items when everyone participates, but normally, at best, you only get a hat + 5 normal weapons which are worth a scrap each max. So what you get is about 1.33+5*.11 or about 2 refined. But the ticket costs more than that in metal.

can someone explain what i am missing here? my current thought is to sell the surplus tickets and just buy the hats i want....

Feel free to add me to your Mann Up MvM party, I have never been on a Mann Up mode server but I have lots of experience in playing MvM (on non Mann Up mode servers.) I can connect to servers in Australia and Asia. Sometimes US Servers too. :D

Hi, I play Mann Up on expert and advanced. I'll buy vouchers every now and again. I only play with experienced players; I'd prefer to play with those who are experienced in MvM and have a decent amount of tours. I'd love to play with teams where everyone uses a voucher. I am entertaining the notion that squad voucher users are more interested in completing missions. I have very little time to play so I like to make the most of it. I can probably pull my weight in Advanced missions. Anyone who thinks I do well enough for Expert, let me know.
With respect to MVM, I am very comfortable with either antitank phlog pyro or bomb reset airblast pyro, nice simple job. OK as Heavy. Need more experience as Soldier. Have won a couple of missions as engineer. Will try practicing other classes when not competitive. Like a leader with a microphone. Take coaching/instruction well.
