I have changed the voices to Japanese, but I feel that when they move their mouths it is as if they are not synchronized with the audio of the voices, I don't know if this is like that or something is wrong

@Prodegy1: Money isn't really a concern or factor in this regard. Kaldaien, the main dev, have basically moved on from the old projects and have no interest revisiting them.

Is it possible to run Tales of symphonia at 60 fps steam version. If it is how much would it cost to develop that

It would help in general if you elaborated, as depending on what you've run into it could just be a simple matter of broken functionality or such (older SK tools/mods for example have broken due to game/Steam updates that were released after the SK tool/mod were released).

Though please do so in the official support channels (e.g. on our Discord server) as this really isn't the proper place for it.

@stun: I'm not following what you say at all, but as it stands:

1. This isn't malware or anything of the sort. If you have received malware by installing something "Special K" related you haven't used the official installer/methods.

2. I'm not sure what you mean by "getting shilled by Valve", as the reality is very much the opposite seeing how the main developer of SK semi-frequently gets banned from Steam due to breaking the Steam Community rules and guidelines. If they were "shilling" Special K, they would be doing quite a bad job of it.

3. Regarding "spreading malicious content", see point 1.

4. I'm not sure what you mean by "lying about other groups malicious content" either. You'd have to elaborate on that part as it's not something the SK team have a reason to do to start with.

You should also note that this Steam Group isn't even being used nowadays, so don't expect many posts or comments to arrive here. We can be found elsewhere outside of the Steam platform nowadays.

it's unfathomable that this malware group are getting shilled by valve instead of deleted for repeatedly spreading malicious content (and lying about other groups malicious content to boot)

Special K is not working for me. I've followed all directions from other channels. Epic games is sneaky about this. I'll hold out on this game until a new mod is up.

@Michelle: I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Special K works through DLL files called SpecialK32.dll and SpecialK64.dll. Beyond that we also have two separate frontend apps called SKIF.exe (current) and SKIM.exe (obsolete). From your description, it sounds like whatever you ran is something else entirely.

Or is it possible you've perhaps installed SpecialK64.dll in the Saints Row 3 Remastered folder? If so, please check your game folder for a file called "dxgi.dll" or "d3d11.dll" and if you find it, please remove it. That should remove Special K from that game, if that's what you've installed.

prevents the game on epic from even running since it disguises itself after restarting your pc as the saintsrow3remastered exe and prevents that exe from being used again.

I've used the auto-installer but it just WON'T. I really want this mod to work, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is that even if the game launches, it won't display the window even if I press ctrl+♥♥♥♥+backspace.

This is just the FAR MOD itself that I downloaded, I tried to keep it simple but the main MOD won't even work for me.

i keep getting error that i need c++ 2015 even tho i have it.
is there any fix for this?am i doing something wrong?

Hi guys! Hope someone knows why my FAR mod isn't working in game? The config menu shows up during the load in screen but after the title screen loads the menu can't be called. I pressed the right buttons: ctrl+shift+backspace and even tried ctrl+shift+O but nothing pops up. I put the FAR_Res texture pack in the directory as well, but it doesn't change anything in game. I was told to paste the logs so someone can help me trouble shoot and here they are:

Thank you, I really appreciate the answer! I only tried Special K with the witcher 3, Spyro, and the hunter call of the wild. It is an amazing plugin! I was paranoid because I heard ubisoft titles triggered bans and the Hunter game has a co-op component. None of my games had VAC protection, but I was still paranoid. I am learning and again I appreciate the input. I do try to find the answer to my questions before asking, but I found this subject to have a lot of uncertain answers around.

@Togiya3: Steam's rules, yes. Other game's rules? No.

Don't use Special K in online games where anti-cheat protections might exists as doing so might get your account banned.

Hey hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to run Special K (last stable) on Mass Effect Andromeda (origin - Not steam) but it starts like this and gives me this error:

And it keeps going from fullscreen to windowed showing it.
It seems to be related to the screen changing resolutions?
I don't know why but Andromeda always start in a windows and actually goes fullscreen when you interact with it

@Balthaz: Disable the global injector. If you installed the old SKIM global injector, launch SKIM from the start menu and then right click on its traybar icon and disable "Start with Windows".

I don't know how either, sorry. As part of Square-Enix's stupid anti-debug system, they broke support for getting accurate crash logs using debug symbols. It's impossible to diagnose crashes in that game.

What even prompted me to to run a full scan is that I was listening to Jake Kaufman's (guy that made Shovel Knight's soundtrack) bandcamp & noticed his banner was a link to his website. I guess his lease on it ran out or something because firefox's ublock plugin threw up a warning page blocking the connection. It's weird that Defender flagged it as specifically that nasty uwamson trojan.

Under "Affected Items" it flagged C:\Users\myusername\Documents \My Mods\SpecialK\Version\SK_0_10_2_1.7z

I went ahead & allowed it to remove the "threat" before bothering to check online about it. Next time I'm at my pc I'll look for a history or something in Defender to see if it says what specific file it had a problem with.
