Hi, Its been some time since ive last posted on this page, but the server went through a rough patch. Its safe to say that we are back in full form once more! We have opted to move to the center a few weeks back in order to attract new players, and as a result of that the arena is currently being rebuilt.
We expect to have it running in the near future once a sizeable populace is playing on the server, and we have it fully built. As well as this we have changed around some of our modifiers. Our XP is now X6 so as to make levelling much less grindy and we have played around with the breeding modifiers so that they should be managable, even for Gigas. They are as follows:

Welcome to the Sotally Tober arena. A place where player and Mount mettle will be forged alike in the fires of PVE combat. Where solo players and tribe alike, can compete against the elements for exciting prizes!



How it works

All players will enter the arena and can bring with them a dino companion that is allowed in the bracket. Once the players are allianced and at the starting location (green), the dinos will then be spawned at the red location.

It is then the players' job to defeat the released dinos to complete that level. It continues in this fashion all the way to the end, but be warned, it does get much harder! You can choose to stop at anytime and will be given the rewards for the levels you have completed.

The arena is a no PVP zone when it is in progress, and tribes competing in arena are not allowed to be raided.



When and Where

The arena will be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 18:30 GMT

The arena is located near the swamps at 46 ; 46, right next to the new player building, and is easily accessible by boats. You can also fly in, but please keep the viewing platform clear of any flyers. They should be left in the starting area.



How can I join?

Arrive on either the Wednesday or Saturday, at 18:00 GMT, and make it known that you would like to compete. If there is no one on the night that wishes to compete, there would be no arena.

The Rules

General rules

After each round, there is a 5 min break that can be used, you must ask for this break.
You may bring 1 additional dino into arena with you that can be used as a replacement mount, or on follow to assist you. (B1-B3 Only)
You may bring as many additional dinos in arena for B4 as you like, but you are restricted to only 1 Giga or Bronto Platform.
The main gate will be locked during rounds, so any additional dinos must be inside arena.
Some dinos are banned in certain brackets, flyers are banned globally.
Explosives and tranqs are banned.
There is no time limit, however if rounds go on too long we will stop it.
You may start arena at any bracket or difficulty, but you must complete all of it to obtain the dino reward.
You can do a bracket multiple times, and can get the prizes again (except the dino).
We will not replace any of your tamed dinos, so be careful!


Normal Mode

Brackets 1-4 Dinos are LvL 150
Brackets 1-3 have a player multiplier of 2 for all rounds
Bracket 4 has a multiplier of 1 dino for every 3 players
However, if there is an odd numbers of players, the amount of dinos spawned will be rounded up


Extreme Mode

Brackets 1-4 Dinos are LvL 250
Brackets 1-3 have a player multiplier of 2 for all rounds
Bracket 4 has a multiplier of 1 dino for every 3 players
However, if there is an odd numbers of players, the amount of dinos spawned will be rounded up
Players' dinos must be above level 200 to compete


Allowed Dinos

Bronze - Raptor/Scorp/Trike/Turtle/Doedic/Moose/TBird/Saber/Ape/Stego/Sarco/Arthro/Direwolf
Silver - Carno/Ankylo/Rhino/Direbear/Direwolf/Arthro/Saber/Sarco/Trike/Stego/Allo/Turtle
Gold - Bronto/Spino/Rex/Paracer/Mammoth/Allo
Diamond - You must have a Giga/Bronto as your main dino, however all other dinos can be brought for backup


The Prizes

Completing normal or extreme will you win a dino of your choice, level 150 for normal and 180 for extreme.

First 3 Leagues - 3 Yellow Cave Drops Per Bracket
Diamond Leagues - 1 Red Cave Drop Per Level

Extreme Mode

First 3 Leagues - 3 Red Cave Drops Per Bracket

Hi there. and thanks for checking us out!

Me and two others have been playing ARK for a long time and have have almost 1000 hours each since the very very beginning of Ark. We have all played on all walks of Ark, from a small three man tribe hiding from big alpha tribes. To the 10+ player tribes ruling the server.

Its with this shared knowledge and experience that we have decided to make our own server, the way we want it to be. Decent rates, helpful and friendly admins, with an ultimate goal of cultivating our very own gaming community, who we can call friends, as we have been a part of so many in the past. The server has been up since 04/10/2016 so it is brand spanking new. For new players, we have set up a "safe zone" for new players complete with incubating chamber, crafting stations, mortar and pestle, and breeding room for Dinos. We also have a community forge zone on the Volcano so new players can use this for metal runs. (Or lazy players who need a convenient forge xD)

In terms of the server environment, we want to create a friendly environment where people can get on with each other and forge friendships and relationships together. We do not want to discourage PVP however, and aside from no offline raiding, or blowing up whole bases, anything is permitted with PVP. In order to compliment all of this we have a PVP and PVE arena in the works, on the plateau near the south 2 Spawn. It is here you can face off against wild dinosaurs and bosses for loot in PVE, or against one another in both gladiator and Dinosaur fighting to win loot and even high level dinosaurs!
