Hey guys,

I know the news stream here has stopped, but I intend to pick it back up shortly, but, I have one problem.

Between work and school, gaming has taken a back spot in my life. I'm looking for some dedicated Simmers to take up the reigns and keep you guys happy, post news and generally be awesome.

If you are legitimately interested in being an admin for the group, please, feel free to post here, my page or message me.

Hey guys, I know I've neglected the group for a long time, sorry about that, but I'm thinking about a new way to bring some more sims into your life!

I'm proposing a weekly news recap that could be posted to the group. It'd be an announcement like this, so every week you'd get a nice little popup summarizing all the developments in the sims world for that time period.

Would you guys like this? Do you hate me for even posting this update? Any opinion at all, let it out in the comments!

Hey, more news! Sorry about the brevaty, I'm a senior people! Lots of work, little play!

Anyways, six new downloadable packs for The Sims 3 for iPhone OS are out, focusing on Vampires, Campus Life, Werewolves, and Castles. Each is only $0.99 as a direct, in-app purchase.

The Sims Vacation, err, Bon voyage, sorry, umm, World adventures!

I'm going to try and be unbiased here, but I can't help it.

Selling the same thing three times does NOT impress me.

But for all the other sheep out there, go ahead and go nuts over the press release and screenshots that consist of the third iteration of Vacation.

Okay, breif and beautifull, I'm looking for a News Admin for the group, as more and more of my time is taken up by real life, combined with the fact that I've lost taste in The Sims (Currently. It always comes back!)

All you need to do is post announcements on news related to the sims series of games. Be reliable, quote your sources, and have some personallity.

Anyone interested me, just post a comment, or contact me through the steam chat!

So, we've got rumours of 2 new expansion packs, and 1 new stuff pack. Though the pages are now down for them, you where once able to look up the prices and dates, standard EP prices, but I've forgotten the dates, please don't hate me!

What are you guys looking forward too in the new expansions for the sims 3? More towns, expanding Riverview and Sunset Valley, More objects and animations, seamless sub-hoods? Post a comment below and let the theorising commence!

Sorry for the massive delay, not only is real life interferring like mad, but I'd gotten a new comp, and haven't realy felt like re-installing all my games on it.

Anywho, on to the news! The Sims 3 was going to be the bane of our existence with a whole new, shiny, and horrible version of Suck-U-ROM, but wait! Now, EA has decided that delaying a games piritation by about 2 days wasn't worth losing their fan base, and completely and utterly SCRAPPED the idea of advanced DRM (there is still that whole serial number thing though).

So, everyone, Enjoy having the ability to keep your DVD burners, and put the game on more than 3 computers, and have a great weekend!

The Sims 3 iPone/iPod Touch!

So recently, when Apple was showing off it's new iPhone OS (Which is the firmware that runs on the iPhone and iPod Touch), A little bit of news for The Sims 3 on iPones got leaked.

The graphics are comparable to The Sims 2 on Medium setting, and there will be the ability to listen to your music in-game (Well, it IS an iPod after all...) and also the ability to purchase content from the App Store. Though I doubt we'll actually see a lot of content released, maybe the modders can find a way to make more use of this...

P.S: Sorry for the lack of updates, real life is sort of taking up all my time. Damn that social life!
