It's has been a little while since we posted here. To us the Steam Groups are not what they could've been. And so to keep our community lively we have created a Discord server for all to use.

On this server we have events, discussion, hangout and collabs. All in the Nature of Hardcore Sims but also to appeal to recent Nerds with a more casual approach.

OK guys so this is the state of play. When I received a copy of Train Mechanic Simulator for free to review I did not know what price the game would be released at, I was expecting £20 or perhaps even more. This clouded my judgement on the games value for money, now that it has been released and I can see they are only charging £10 for the game in total, better than that it is on sale on Steam right now I have to make some omissions.
All the things I complained about in the Negative review are still accurate. It is still Linear and limited in terms of gameplay, it is still a waste of potential and a step back from Car Mechanic 2015 BUT for less than £10 this game is actually a bargain.
The train tracks outside are quirky but by far the best implementation from any of the previous Mechanic Simulator series.
It needs some tweaking that’s for sure as the game has crashed on me once and there are some instances where the game does allow parts to be put back together in the wrong order but overall for £10 it’s very good value for money I just wish it wasn’t so flipping linear!

The Neoplan Skyliner release date has been brought forward by a week and is avaialble on steam today.
