Posting Rules - Please Read Before Posting
I never thought I'd need to establish rules towards posting but given the time and demoralizing effort spent this past week(and a handful of times in the past) by moderators/admins/community individuals and myself, I think we have to set a new precedence in which we can avoid issues spiraling out of control from here on out.

I started this group 2+ years ago to get community opinions and feedback because I know I can't get everything right and often make many wrong decisions. I also created this group to allow our community(and INS extended community) to grow out-of-game. It allows us to connect, build relations, and share ideas. Insurgency Coop is our sanctuary from that long day of work, that weekend when we just want to relax and converse with good people. My end goal has always been to continue that positive vibe and that is why I am making this post. This post changes nothing, if you didn't have issues before, nothing changes from these rules. Keep doing what you're doing.

So here are the rules.. Remember, these are just guidelines to refer to and make things easier for future discussions/posts:
  • When giving feedback, follow this guide. If your post is badly formatted, off point, demanding, or makes broad assumption about features, it will be locked and you'll have to re-post.
  • Be respectful/empathetic. Be mindful of your thoughts and how they may come off in the form of text. If you're frustrated, calm down. We're all human and get riled up from real-life woes and sometimes that carries over to our digital identities. Try to avoid labeling people and or assuming intent. Its toxic and doesn't allow for healthy discussion.
  • Have an objective discussion and be willing to compromise(it takes courage to be vulnerable and good people will respect you for it). Not everyone's going to see eye to eye. Your idea or point-of-view may get shot down. If you can be more transparent with your thoughts, it not only lets you see possible flaws, but it helps others understand where you're coming from.

As said before, this changes nothing.. If you're sarcastic often (Max) and make jokes, please continue to do so. If you like to write out detailed ideas and some of those contain criticism, please don't hesitate. If what you say comes off wrong or is/can be misinterpreted, correct it and be open with your intentions/faults. I'll start: I Daimyo am not perfect and make bad design decisions and sometimes people suffer, sorry! =)

Also, no ones going to get banned for breaking these rules unless its blatantly obvious that they do not want to be a part of our community and continue to spiral out of control.
