On the bright side, I just purchased a new server. I am going to try and revive at least the server scanner for starters, but no guarantees.

Well dudes and dudettes, I really didn't mean for it to end this way.

While I was preoccupied with happenings in real life, I wasn't aware that my server had been terminated by my host. If I had caught it in time, I could have restored everything but they have completely deleted all the site and database files. There are some backup files from a much earlier point in time (somewhere), but I don't know if these would be complete enough to restore the site on a new server without some major, major work.

I know for certain that a large part, if not all, of the item database is lost for good, if not all of it. Now I have to decide whether it will be worth it for me to try and piece together the rest of the site after building a completely new server. It may be possible for me to put a partial version up but it won't be for some time, if at all.

Again, I apologize for letting this happen; I was planning on keeping Scan.tf alive for a long time to come. It makes me sad knowing that I let you all of my fellow scanners down!

Guys, if this truly is the end of Scan.tf, use Warmars scanner! I didn't trust him at first to be honest, but if you scan the file for virus, it has no virus! Idk if the API shutdown will prevent this from working though. Trust Warmar!

Guys steam API has permanently been disabled by valve, i think this is the reason for odyle shutting the site down

It has also come to my attention that Odyle has not been online for 32 days on steam, all we can do now is try new scanners, make our own, or wait. Goodluck everyone.
