check tobj file setting in blender - maybe you repeat
and if it is not that just check texture itself
so to create own mod (doorhandlle) what i do i copy all folders create files and nofing python crash in blender
like i say early
import the object
then go to Material TAB scroll down and look what texture object use
(you need to do that for all material)
then create same paths in the mod SOURCE folder and put inside the tetxtures and tobj
(tobj files must be not encryp i was explain that in some post i think
... just take some of Blender Tool archive if you cant create own)
and still python error on exsporting
not error like someting wrong but lines of scripts in addon io_scs
usally that is base reason blendor to give error
check all material they texture ... mat shaders .. names all

take .tobj file of Blender Tool
you download the BT of SCS site
look inside in "data" folder
...tga ... if you use .dds file in blender material ... just give name .....dds and load the tobj file in belender

but you can use and PACK button down directly ... just check all option above the button pack
