Hello and welcome to my first Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed tournament, using Epona's rules.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, September 24th at 7PM UK Time (GMT +1:00) (the same time as previous tournaments - check the event post Here to see the start time for your own timezone - if enough people can agree on a different time that works best for all/most, feel free to suggest and we may change it! :D). Anyone is free to join, so please just write a comment bellow to sign up :D

1. All 21 (including Outrun Bay) normal tracks will be played in completely random order [GAME MODE WILL BE NORMAL RACE].
- First round will be 10 tracks.
- Finals will be 10 tracks.
- A bonus track will be chosen if a tie results (or if people just want to do 1 more race).

2. Qualifications for the Finals
- 2 Lobbies = Top 5.
- 3 Lobbies = Top 3. The 10th spot will be decided by points, or a tiebreaker will determine the last qualifier if needed.
- Tournaments generally last around 2 hours and 30 minutes on average. Please note that any more rounds would extend it by quite a bit.
***Please note that, in my experience, the tournament can be difficult and slow to start up, as many people (since we come from all over) live in different timezones and may not show up quite on time - I ask that all participants try their best to be patient and understanding as we begin to set up the tournament, and do your best to show up 15-30 minutes ahead of time to expedite the process. But once we get going, it should go quite smoothly.

3. The host of the lobby will start the next race as soon as everyone has picked a character or else the maximum waiting time is 5 mins. If for some reason you are not ready, please leave your character on random and/or mention it in the group chat.
These 5 minutes will also be used in case someone disconnected to give them time to rejoin the lobby.

4. Hosts of the lobbies have the responsibility to take screenshots of the results after every race.
- This is so that if someone disconnects/network error/crashes or has to go, they keep their points. BUT other participants can help too, as sometimes the host misses a screenshot.
* In the event that a person or persons crash during the course of the race, they will be awarded the points earned by their respective bot. HOWEVER, if 5 or more players experience a network error/crash (or if the lobby agrees by consensus), the race can be restarted (even if already completed - in this case, the points of previous race will be disregarded, and only points from re-race will count).

5. Sign up deadline is TWO (2) hours before the tournament begins.
* If you sign up after that, you are NOT guaranteed a spot unless someone doesn't show up.

6. Be ready to deal with S-class A.I
* Their scores do not count but their driving/items will SURELY affect the outcome of the races!

7. Steam chat will be used to communicate.
- If you're not in the Steam group chat for whatever reason, the host will assume you're not ready if your character is on Random, but if you already picked a character, the race will start after 5 minutes.

8. If enough hosts are willing to, there will be rooms beside finals one (brackets).
This is so that everyone can be ranked in the tournament. Or else only the finalists will be.

**9. in-game items and bonus chance items/buffs are allowed so… remember to have your tokens ready :D

*We all know by experience that crazy things could happen (bumps, lag bumps, glitches, falling cakes and so) and ofc that can be frustrating, but please try to be polite so we all can have a good time, which is the most important no matter the results : )

Hello, as the title says, I was thinking that having some new moderators could be a good idea for the group and upcoming tournaments. I would like to suggest Garf18BL and Chrono_Ace10 since I think they may organize tournaments in the future and we had a good time at the past ones : )
Well, that's all... oh and If I'm forgetting to mention any other possible new mod who would like to organize tourneys, please say so. Thanks!
