Welcome to my 3rd S&ASRT Tournament.
The Tournament will take place on Saturday, 2nd September 2017, at 7PM UK Time.

I'll just quickly go through the main details below, to try and keep the post clean. Reason being is that it seems unnecessary to keep going over the same rules, over and over again, in every single tournament post~

There will be a total of 21 Tracks played, in Normal Race. No mirrors.
ㅤ 10 Tracks in the Qualifying Round, 10 in the Finals Round & an extra as a
ㅤ bonus.

There will be a total of two lobbies, Group A & Group B.
ㅤ Each lobby will have a maximum of 10 Players participating. If there are more than 20
ㅤ players who wish to participate, there may be an additional lobby.

The top 5 players in each lobby will make it to the Finals Round.
ㅤ If there happens to be 3 lobbies, then top 3 will go on to the finals.
ㅤ If 2 (or more) people have the same score after Track 10 in the Qualifying Round, an
ㅤ additional track will be played in order to determine who goes into the Finals.

A copy of Sonic Mania (PC) may be given away to 1 lucky participant.

Hey.

While it's always nice to see new people coming up with ideas for hosting Tournaments, you don't seem to be following the standard procedures in order to host one in the group.

One thing I can point out, is there any reason why we must use twitch for signing up?

Participants usually sign up in here in this group directly. Not everyone here is willing to use third party websites such as Twitch for Tournament signups.

And yeah, I was thinking about hosting the next & possibly giving away a copy of Sonic Mania. But I am not sure about this silly gifting restriction put into place on Steam.

NBlast, FLamiex, BlackLionPT, Retropolis Zone, and Zoibator.

Seen absolutely none of them in the game for quite a long time, or active in the Tournament scene for quite a long time as well. Zoibator was the last active person in the scene from whom I've listed (last Tournament he held was on December 12th, 2015), and the rest of them have been inactive overall for much much longer.


I'd also like to nominate Noc as a mod, as I think he also does a good job in keeping the Tournament scene alive.
