Hey,

Welcome to my 6th S&ASRT Tournament!

This Tournament will take place on Saturday, 2nd June 2018, at 6PM UK Time.
Just a few days after I turn 30 years young~
It also marks exactly 5 years ago when I joined my very first Tournament in 2013.

We know how inaccurate Steam's Event Times can be sometimes. So, for other timezones, click here:

1. Only straight plain normal races will be played (no boost races, no mirror tracks, no capture the chao, no battle races or arenas).

2. In case of tie, the other racers are asked to turn to the sides of the track as soon as the race begins & STOP for 10-15 seconds. This is to prevent interferring with the ties as much as possible.

3. I allow the signup deadline as much as 30 minutes before the Tourney starts.

4. The rest of the rules should be common-sense! If you forgot or don't know the rest, I ask you kindly to please take notice of the default Tournament rules located here! (click)

5. More importantly, shoot each other, try to keep racing if things don't go your way, save your cake & get the boost start, fart in the process, and have fun :P

Are monthly tournaments still a thing? It has been pretty dormant lately.

I'll be planning one at the start of June, and Adam has one planned for June as well. Someone should actually host one this month and in May.

As a matter in fact, Steam is actually being extremely stupid here.

At first the event said it started at 2:30AM in my local timezone. Now today, the event post says it starts at 3:30AM in my local timezone. Right now, it is 3:35AM over here. But the weird thing is, it's only 5:05PM in the UK.

So, I think we should never trust Steam's event times any more. Because the times are out a lot of the time.

Guys, there's less than 11 minutes until this Tournament and barely anyone is in the chat room. Please, if you are a participant, we ask you kindly to join the room so this Tournament can proceed.

Well let's just wait for another video or two to give us more of an idea.

Move me to the signups. I'll try to make it, just need to think which times to sleep at which shouldn't be too difficult xD

Most of the delay this time was due to Steam problems which Adam and I had, but once we sorted that out the Tourney went rather smoothly imho.

Still I do hate how I tend to put myself down a lot after the first couple of races, saying I won't reach the finals, it's not like it's the end of the world. I always do tend to reach the finals in Normal race tournaments anyways, so why am I so worried? That's anyone's guess.


I'm glad I set up the groups decent too, both A and B seemed very well balanced according to what people were saying in the chat which I'm quite proud of. So I'll definitely continue to try setting up & balancing the groups for any of my future tournaments, because it makes for a much better tournament (since I am fairly experienced on how each person performs in races).


I'm planning my next Tournament for near my Birthday, possibly 2nd June. I am not 100% sure about it yet, but I have listed the date in the "Future Tournament Plans" Discussion.

fyi - Just thought I'd let everyone know this. I've already been planning the groups & making sure they're fair as time goes by, so that there is less delay when the Tourney starts :P
