Hey Everyone. I have an Idea for Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, but I would like to know if anyone would think it's a good idea. Here's what I was thinking...

3 Weekly challenges for any map for any condition. Like for example, (Get a Time Attack Time at Ocean View Under 30 seconds, but without being a character over a 5 Boost) Something like that.
And 1 Grand Prix Challenge. And it can be ANYTHING, Like Never get hit in one grand Prix, Or sub 15 minutes in another, or even get over an A Rating in a full Grand Prix, but finish no lower then 3rd. Yeah, you get it.

But I thought this could be interesting. I'm not saying for every week these challenges, but it could be a new thing to try if anyone is down. So what do you all think? Could be worth a shot or no chance? Or have something to go further on with this idea, it's your call everyone :)

SO FAR for the tournament, it is leaning towards Normal Races, With 1 Boost thrown in, A battle Race, and a Capture the choa will be added... But again, So far... if others add to thier ideas, it will change. Also for the Characters I saw 1 random, and 2 fixed cars. So, leaning towards fixed, but no one has added what characters they want IF Fixed... If not in time, it's free pick OR Random depending on if everyone agrees.

Again, that's SO FAR. Another 23 hours to go until racing. Take care everyone!

Basically, you vote on what you want the tournament would be, like a boost tournament, with nothing but boost races, or a random tournament with Boost races, Regular races, and random racers, ect... Basically, you tell us what kind of tournament you would like to do. So far with the ideas listed, it's leaning towards a random tournament.

As for the track mode, in the lobby of the tournament, you vote on what track you want to race, and if enough votes are in favor of the track voted on, we race there. Once done with track one, we vote on another track, BUT NOT the ones we have done yet. So if you have any ideas on what tournament you want, just let us know.

Hi Everyone! Xonics here and I have some exciting news. I'M HOSTING MY FIRST EVER SASRT Tournament on September 30th At 7:00 P.M. UK Time(11:00 A.M. here).

I've been thinking about this for a while, and Its time for me to join the fun. And as always, 10 people per lobby, no limit on people who want to enter and Anyone can join. I'm going off of the original Rules of almost every tournament I've known, but in case some new people come, here's basically it. (Basically Epona's Rules)

If there are 3 lobbies, The top 3 people with the most points advance in each lobby, and the racer with the highest points in 4th can move on. If that is also a Tie, a tiebreaking event will fall and the winner of that will advance.

Now, I’ve seen a lot of tournaments and have participated in a few and they list off what they are going to do. This time though, it’s a little different… I want you All to tell me what you want to do for the tournament. If you want a Team Tournament, a Race Knockout, Random Tournament, You name it, and it will be the main tournament. If there are multiple ideas, I’ll randomly pick one, and we’ll do that one Idea. Also, Characters are first come, first served.

This is supposed to be fun, not stress out racers for an accidental nudge off a track or whatever. So please be nice and keep it civil. Anyone that is being dramatic or abusive by any means CAN be removed from the tournament entirely, no matter if in the qualifiers or in Finals. I will not accept it.

Anyone that is supposedly racing that is not “LEGIT” will be removed immediately, I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

We know that there have been crashes, computer technical difficulties, and malfunctions in game, so please be patient and take a breather… We have to remember, this is just for fun and we are playing a game with friends. Nothing more. If a racer exits mid-race, wherever that character places, the points are then counted as where your character places. IF MULTIPLE PEOPLE are kicked from the race (Like more than 3) A restart of that race will happen.
Please be in Steam Chat to communicate. If you are not in Steam chat, for whatever reason, the host of the lobby will assume you are not ready of your character is on random, but if you have picked a character, the race will start after 5 minutes, MAX.

Anyone has the right to take Screenshots during or after a race is complete.
Sign Up is 2 hours before the tournament, and if you do sign up after 2 hours, you are not guaranteed a spot Unless someone dosen’t show up.

(Sorry if I missed anything)

*Note: I've come up with a little bit of help from others on the Track list... In EACH Lobby (If more than one) Will have the members Vote on what track they want and what mode it will be on, example... Graveyard Gig, Boost. HOWEVER, In the same Lobby, You can't vote for the Same Track, EVEN IF you change the game mode. With this, both lobbies MORE THEN LIKELY WILL BE DIFFERENT.

This is just a stretch, but also... we could do a loser bracket... AND BY THAT... I mean a Second Chance Dance... So, if there are 5 races between 10 Players, 5 advance... so how about the players facing elimination face each other in one race, and the 2 best finishers get back in the tournament for the finals.

I know, it's tricky, but I LOVE YOUR IDEA! It would be a blast!

Ok, I'll add something for the Racers to decide on.... Should we limit Characters and Mods, or just go Full Out? It's up to you as the racers.

I had this idea for a tournament recently, but if you think it can/can't work, please respond back. I'd love to hear any other ideas to make this better/Change it up.

Ok, here's what I was thinking of....
A Time Attack Tournament, and here's how it COULD Go... But I can't host it. Again, just an Idea.

1) use ALL 21 Tracks, EXCLUDING Mirrors (Or if people want to do mirror too, go for it)

2) You have a Week at a specific time, like 7 P.M. like all the other tournaments but can TA all day long throughout the entire week, and once 1 week has elipsed, the tournament has concluded, and it's time to check the times for the lowest time.

3) You DON'T Have to set a PB for the track, any time you feel confident that will get you a point is good enough. Also, if you see someone has beaten your time, You are MORE THAN WELCOME to go back to that track and try for better, as long as the tournament hasn't concluded.

4) Each "Win" is classified as the lowest time for each track, and is 1 point per "Win." The racer with the most points wins the entire thing! If it is a draw at the end of the tournament, the racers pick a track/a Track is assigned to do a single, 3 lap race WITH NO WEAPONS... It is afterall a TA Race. If there are any bots, the one that is closest to First/ahead of the other players Wins.

5) Anyone can join the tournament, but you have to take a screenshot/video of the time AND Make sure that you label for the tournament time.

6) If anyone wants to Check the TA for Racers and their times to be legit, I don't mind, but you may have to ask the racer for permission. IT IS NOT REQUIRED, but based off of some TA Racers with Times that might be too good to be true, it may be a good thing to do. Up to you all. If it is deemed Unacceptible or WAY too good to be true, You could face penalties, and will have to try the TA Track and time again until it is legit. (I don't know what penalty it could be, but I think some other racers have some ideas on what could happen. Up to you all)


Well, that's about all I can think of at the moment. If I have any more ideas about this tournament/have second thoughts, I'll comment again. I hope you all like this Idea, if not, sorry for wasting your time. Comment down below if you want this to happen or not, but it's up to you.
