Wiping to encourage population growth

The server is currently undergoing a wipe. We decided to do this because the server population reached 0 for long periods of time recently (sometimes only 1 player joining for 30 minutes certain days) and since we're paying quite a lot of money to keep this server up & running we'd rather see it populated than having it run on an empty tank. We're hoping to get some strays from other servers to join us and that some old regulars pop back in to breathe some life back into it. We're sorry if this caused some frustration to anybody who were still relatively active on our server.

This time around the map is much larger. 15 km^2 instead of 9km^2.

Server wipe incoming 01/09!

There's been a week since the last wipe now, september is just around the corner and we can already tell a noticable decrease in server population due to people getting raided and whatnot. Around 143 players played on the server so far this wipe and our Rusty Pusty group grew to 30+ members. We didnt have to ban a single person due to rule infraction. Everybody is following the 6 players per group limit so far and chat is friendly most of the time! Good stuff.

Somebody asked if we could make the map a little bit larger the next wipe.This map was 9km². Would you guys like a 12 km² map next time around? Leave comments to this announcement.

A lot of people seem to enjoy the player per group limit. It keeps a lot of groups afloat longer when there's no zerg clan running around consuming all the smaller groups. Hopefully most of you guys will come back for the next wipe on the 1st of september!

TL;DR: Wipe 01/09 & maybe a larger map if you guys want it.
