Rusticon - Central

Welcome Survivors,

If you all could stop swinging your rocks at trees for a moment give me your attention please. I have got something important to discuss about our beloved server Rusticon that you may want to hear.

For many wipes now our server has been inactive, mainly due to us all wanting more players to interact with, whether that's PvP or general chatting. I completely understand what drives us to other populated servers, I've done it myself. But, I've been lurking in the showdows playing many differernt Rust servers, meeting many of new players, and inviting all of them to our steam group. Now we have a decent size Steam Group of about 50 members and I am going to give you guys the power here.

Here's the question; do we stay Vanilla or go Modded?

I've personally played both and love both. I love the grind of Vanilla, the build up, and when you get a kill and earn yourself a crossbow/revolver it's way more rewarding. But, we also have to deal with low stack sizes, resource gathering rates, and much more tedious things this game makes us suffer through. Modded is great too because you're able to hold more, gather faster to get a good start and you're not wanting to rage quit everytime you lose your bow and arrows. Now, if we made the server switch to modded you'd need specifics on what mods and what effect it'll have on the game.

HERE YOU GO;

If we made the switch to modded we'd offer;
* Stack Sizes Increased: The maximum stack size will be 2-10k (your choice).
* x2 gathering rate.
* x2 components (faster for pvp, optional)
* ConnectionMessages (displays a message when somebody connects)
* Sign Artist (optional, might eventually be for donors so we can get more player slots)

That's about all I can think of to say at this point and time, if we were to make the switch, I'd start working on it now and have it live tomorrow for a week of testing to see if we like it or not.
